Unwin
Unwin is a one screen Sokoban puzzle game where you use the 'Unwin' button to uncollect stars, independent of Undo. Use the Stars to collect the Stars then make it to the exit. It was made for the Thinky Puzzle Games Confounding Calendar 2024 Gamejam.
The difficulty level is very high. Feel free to use 'Gain Insight' and 'Rules Overview' for an easier experience.
Made by Patashu and Teal Knight (Artist). Inspired by a discussion about Maxwell's puzzling demon, 5 Step Steve series and Entwined Time (and its inspirations).
After you beat the game, try the Level Editor! I will compile Custom Puzzles here!

In the other Earth beyond the veil, where celestial Dolphins practice magic and serpents see beyond time, it is said that Lyrebirds long ago made a pact to trade flight for the power of Song.
No experience escapes a Lyrebird, for a song may recall it on a whim, and even share it with those who will listen. Lyrebirds are highly social, loving to learn for the sake of learning, to teach and to be taught. By remembering the time before they learned a skill, they can convey not just how to do it but the process of Mastery; and by hearing new counterpoints to the song echoed back at them, will reinforce their own skills in the process. Lyrebirds have an oral history as rich as it is beautiful.
You are a Lyrebird, and have fallen on hard times - your mind bogged down by heavy thoughts. But hope is not lost yet. Using the song of metacognition, you can debug your own mind - its difficulties and traumas represented as the dangers of a mind palace. The Stars contained within represent formative experiences holding you back - and by experiencing them in many different orders, your full capacity can be unlocked once more.
You settle in the desert and begin to meditate, and sing a song all your own...
