Entwined Time: Coming to Steam!

Entwined Time will release on Steam in two weeks (EDIT: It is now released)! It'll still be free and still be kept in sync with itch.io, it'll just be a new place to play the game and for it to find an audience (hopefully). I plan on writing a Steam Guide, and adding Steam Achievements unless I run into a technical problem stopping me. I'm also trying to get the Campaign as good as it can for its second debut. With that in mind, here's the changelog:

**v16.6 (10th October 2024):**

* Prototype achievements. ATM it just shows floating text the first time you get it each session. Implemented achievements: Non-Standard Game Over, What, Already Fixed, Already Broken, Phantasmal, Space Program, Far Lands, Void Diver, Buried Alive, Exception Handler, Infinite Loop, Paradox.

* Chapter B: Add many Insights.

* Chapter C: Add some Insights. Add Drop Stop (Cramped Roommates becomes its Insight). Add Forklift Certified (dropping Hokey Pokey, Pry becomes its Insight). Add Clocksmasher (Crunch Time becomes its Insight). Swap position of Woodskip and Wooden Glass. Move Simple Hierarchy to the end of Standard. Move Woodskip [VAR2] to the end of Advanced from Green's World. Move One at a Time [VAR1] here from Green's World. Move The Steel Crate Pit to Slabdrill's World (Only Pits). Move Bunker Door [VAR1] to late Advanced from Green's World.

* Chapter -1: ||Buff Tall (Loop 2) [VAR1]. Old version becomes (Insight).||

* Formless Exploration: Add Lego Tower.

* Slabdrill's World: Add Voidly Moving Service. Update Tile Selector.

* Green's World: Add Invisible Void Bridge [VAR1]. Buff The Imaginary Pit.

* Onatron's World: Add Halfpipe [VAR1].


**v16.6 (14th October 2024):**

* Upgrade to Godot v3.6/GodotSteam v3.6.

* Implement Steam Achievements.

* Chapter C: Buff Pushing It Power and add a (Remix).

* The Cutting Room Floor: Add Acrobatics but it's forced.

* Slabdrill's World: Add Acrobatics but it's forced [VAR1].

* Onatron's World: Actually add Halfpipe [VAR1] (oops). Add Green Campfire [VAR1].


**v16.7 (15th October 2024):**

* Reverting to Godot/GodotSteam v3.53 because it introduced at least one bug.

* Tentative Steam Deck detection. (It sets the resolution to fixed 1280x800 and changes 'Bottom Face Button' to 'A' and so on.)

* Change some default bindings. Author's Replay F12->F8, Undo (Controller) Top -> Left Face Button, Redo (Controller) L3 -> Top Face Button, Swap +Tab. (Controller) Replay Turn -/+ LT/RT (replacing Replay Speed -/+).

* Fix a bug where resolution scaling x5 and up were not calculated properly.

* Green's World: Buff/de-cheese Skipping Stone and [VAR1]. Add [SPEEDRUN] Erase, [SPEEDRUN] Lego Tower, [SPEEDRUN] One at a Time [VAR1].


**v16.8 (19th October 2024):**

* Fix the Steam Deck D-Pad not working. (There is a Steam Deck thumbsticks bug, fixable in configuration: Configure the left stick to output as right stick.)

* The maximum debounce time allowed is now 200ms.

* Fix a bug where fires would animate during undos.

* In tutorial prompts, [UNBOUND] will be shown if a control is not bound to anything.

* Fix achievement 'Community Champion'.

* The Cutting Room Floor: Add Time Travel, Void Fire.

* Green's World: Add Reflections [VAR1], [SPEEDRUN] Pathology, [SPEEDRUN] Midnight Parkour.


**v17.0 (25th October 2024):**

* Chapter 1: New Roast (Insight).

* Credit 'Sergiu Dumitriu' as a playtester.

* Prevent typing letters into AccessibleSpinBoxes (Jukebox, Virtual Buttons Layout). Make Level Editor -> Level Info use AccessibleSpinBoxes too.

* When using a Controller and entering a Replay, the hint for what input adjust the replay is now dynamic based on what inputs are bound.

Custom Puzzles/Community Levels:

* In voidlike puzzles, 'Undo a Restart' is disabled when any moves have been made since you last Restarted.

* Level Editor: Fix the tooltip for Cyan Jelly.

* The Cutting Room Floor: Cut Void Fire.

* Formless Exploration: Add Monochrome.

* Slabdrill's World: Add Void Harness, [VAR1] and [VAR2].

* Green's World: Add Void Fire (Void Fire Shortage) and Void Harness [VAR3].


**v17.1 (28th October 2024):**

* Chapter 1: De-cheese Fire In The Sky.

* Chapter 2?: Buff/slightly modify Rough Terrain. De-cheese The Boundless Sky [VAR1].

* The Cutting Room Floor: Add The Boundless Sky (Already Falling).

* Slabdrill's World: Buff Invisible Bridge (for Heavy) [VAR3] and move it to Best Of. Add Rough Terrain [VAR1], [VAR2] and [VAR3]. Move some puzzles based on difficulty order.


**v17.2 (3rd November 2024):**

* Fix a crash on startup if you've played the game but never looked at the Controls.

* Chapter 3: De-cheese The One-Way Pit [VAR2].

* Chapter Ω: New LEVEL_NOT_FOUND [VAR3] (Remix).

* Chapter C: Buff Wooden Crates Tutorial.

* Formless Exploration: Add Clockwork 3: Metallic Bogaloo. Add Ventriloquy.

* Slabdrill's World: Old version of Invisible Bridge (for Heavy) [VAR3] becomes the (Insight), replacing the existing (Remix). Modify Rough Terrain [VAR2] and [VAR3]. Add Top Security. Add Over-Destination [VAR1]. Add Flaming Coronation [VAR1]. Cut The One-Way Pit [VAR2] [VAR1]. Add Green Glass [VAR2]. Add Wall (Insight) [VAR1].

* Green's World: Add Graduation [VAR5].


**v17.3 (16th November 2024):**

(These are not all the changes I want to make, I am still going through Mikan Hako's LP and Slabdrill's suggestions. Advanced and post-game puzzle changes will come in the next update.)

* Chapter 4: Fixed that one of the purple one-way south sprites was wrong. Clue Ladder Dither differently. De-cheese The Underworld.

* Chapter 5: De-cheese Press Every Key.

* Chapter 6: De-cheese Leap of Faith. (Can have the old experience in Leap of Faith [Space Program] in Community Levels.) De-cheese Spontaneous Combustion?.

* Chapter 7: Buff Double Glazed.

* Chapter 8: Rework Colour Quest.

* Chapter 9: New Time Stop. Old one becomes (Insight). Buff Nomadic. De-cheese King Crimson.

* Chapter 10: Buff Recollection.

* If you use Gain Insight and paste a Custom Puzzle, the game now correctly understands you're no longer inside of an Insight.

* Replace pushers_list.pop_front() with pushers_list.pop_back(). (I'm actually not sure if this caused any bugs but I noticed it while working on my Confounding Calendar 2024 entry so may as well.)

* The instructions in Settings about changing tabs no longer clip out of the window when a non-pixel-perfect resolution is active.

* The visuals of goals locking/unlocking now update during undos.

* Formless Exploration: Add Brutalist Absurdism.

* Slabdrill's World: Add Spontaneous Combustion? [VAR1] and Lunar Gravity [VAR1]. Buff The Magenta Pit [VAR4]. Add The RGB Pit, The Glass Pit [VAR2], Spelunking?? [VAR3]. Add a (Remix) to Nomadic [VAR1]. Add Crystalformer, Elementary [VAR1], Bad Widget Pit, Impostor Syndrome and its (Remix).

* Green's World: Add Proxy Timeline?, Newton's Cradle [VAR1], Switcheroo [VAR1].
